Gas Based Fire Suppression System
Inert Gas Clean Agents: (Inergen IG-541, Argonite IG-55 And Nitrogen)
Mainly under the Inert Gas Clean Agent Fire Suppression, IG-541
consisting of 52% Nitrogen, 40% Argon and 8% Carbon Dioxide, IG-55
Consisting 50% Nitrogen and 50% Argon, And Nitrogen consisting
100% Nitrogen are used as clean agent Gas in total flooding
systems. These Gases have become widely accepted as the best
performing, cost effective, and environmentally friendly inert gas
fire extinguishing agents, offering extended hold times and great
flexibility in design.
Since the Storage of these Gases are at high pressure and the
storage also require more hardware i.e. (Agent Storage Cylinders),
therefore the Installation of these systems requires comparatively
more space to accommodate the Clean Agent Stored Cylinders.
Halocarbon Clean Agents (FM-200, NAF S125 and Novec 1230)
The Most Common Clean Agent Gases used for Gas Flooding Fire Suppression System are FM - 200 (HFC227ea), NAF S125 and Novec 1230. The storage of these Gases are comparatively at less pressure and so required less hardware i.e. (Agent Storage Cylinders) therefore Installation of these systems require comparatively less space to accommodate the clean Agent Stored Cylinders.
Co2 Gas Flooding System
Carbon dioxide or CO2 is a colorless, odorless, electrically non-conductive gas that is highly efficient as a fire suppression agent. Tri-Parulex Carbon Dioxide fire protection systems use, reliable and fast-acting control panels to quickly sense a fire before it can cause damage to property. Carbon dioxide gas has a high rate of expansion, which allows a Tri-Parulex CO2 fire protection system to work fast.
